About

CLSJ Monologues is here to provide inspirational, motivating, empowering, and engaging content that has an emotional impact and leaves them wanting more. Ms. Jenkins acknowledges that words are powerful, and you must “write the vision and make it plain (Habakkuk 2:2-3 King James Version).” CLSJ Monologues was created to spark conversation about the situationships we tend to find ourselves in and provide tips to become a better version of ourselves. We do this by bringing awareness of popular issues with Creativelsj Monologues. These Creative skits were created to promote founder, Laquann Jenkins’s upcoming book, Love’s Fool.

Laquann S Jenkins is a self-published writer and life coach. She aims to help other self-publishing writers like herself market and promote their books. But first, she must lead by example. She learned the hard way that it is just as important to promote your book as it is to write it.

She aims to develop a scripted web series that brings together self-publisher writers looking to promote their book 3 to 6 months before launching on a single topic. Our content allows you to dig deep and break down your perspectives to look at things differently.

Ms. Jenkins’s entrepreneurial path started with her self-publication of her first book, Mad Passion, in 2008 and then, after a long break, her second book, Emotional Blues, a collection of poems written in July. Her love of writing and being compared to a famous author drove her to obtain her bachelor’s degree in English, concentrating on Creative Writing. At Lehman College, she also won First place for her Poem, Bitter Chocolate, in the 2012 Labor Lehman Arts Contest. She also received her bachelor’s degree in 2012. But, between working various temporary Jobs and trying to muscle up the nerve to start writing again, she started working in the Insurance field as a Clams Associate for the next five years until her job laid her off in 2017.

Being laid off made her realize she did not have a backup plan. She needed to figure out her purpose. She worked another temporary job for about six months until her assignment ended. After she muscled up the courage to self-publish her collection of poems, she still didn’t feel complete because she didn’t know how to market herself. Therefore, she returned to college to obtain her MBA In marketing with DeVry University to learn how to market herself and others.

CLSJ Monologues inspires to reach their audience through their emotions with storytelling that has a lasting effect. We aim to bring a positive impact and push through our mistakes as we lead by example and give back to our community. We will network and collaborate with talented individuals that will help us highlight a unique standpoint on today’s issues as we build a legacy of inspiration.
